three choices
moving from the small community that we lived in for almost seven years back into the town where i grew up has made me realize how comfortable i had become in that small community just outside of town
that is, until yesterday.
we still have numerous boxes (and by numerous, i actually mean the boxes seem to be multiplying exponentially) that are unpacked and stacked on top of each other into what looks like a crude leaning tower of piza. mostly because we have painting and such to do to the rooms where the contents of said boxes should be.
yesterday morning i realized that the shirt that i wanted to wear to work was still in the garage inside the dresser that has yet to make it into our bedroom. so i went to the garage, flicked the lights on, and walked across the room to where the dresser was.
did i mention that i didn't have a shirt on?
oh, i didn't?
yeah. no shirt.
i had on everything else. bra, pants, even my flip flops.
but no shirt.
as i pulled the dresser drawer open to look for my shirt it hit me.
i looked up towards the windows of the garage. yep. NO curtains. why would there need to be curtains in a garage? people don't usually traipse around half naked in their garages? do they?
now, i said earlier that i didn't realize how comfortable i had gotten in our other house. it was probably a combination of the house and the location. and that i had curtains on every window in the house. so if i needed to go to the laundry room to pull clothes out of the dryer at 5:30 in the morning with no shirt on, it didn't matter. plus, the curtained window in the laundry room faced the woods behind the house.
so. i've got three choices.
#1 get chris to finish moving all of my clothes into the house.
#2 buy curtains for the garage.
#3 stop walking around my house half-naked.
i don't know about you, but i am betting that #1 gets done before the other two.
xoxo
tell me i'm beautiful...
