russian stalker
over the past few days, chris has been receiving random text messages and phone calls from a cell phone from over seas.
chris is really bad about not answering the phone unless he knows who the caller is, and then in some cases knowing who the caller is will also cause him to not answer the phone. when he didn't recognize the number, he simply did not answer the phone. that was late friday night (actually it was early saturday morning, around 3 am).
we really didn't give it another thought. random people call and when they hear the voice mail, they usually realized that they have the wrong number and move on. never to be heard from again.
saturday morning around 11 or so chris got his first text message...
chris asked, "what language is this?"
"russian, i think," i replied. the only reason i would know what a russian character looks like is because i've watched movies like k-19 and red october.
we had a laugh over it, but apparently it was beginning to bother chris more than he was letting on.
sunday morning around 2:30 or so, he got his second text message from his russian stalker...
last night chris got on the internet to translate his text messages�

Why I is not answered no more?
we went to cingular's (the new at&t) website to find out about blocking a caller from calling or text messaging, but according to the site, there is no way to block anyone from calling. i assured chris that i would call in the morning to find out what could be done.
and this morning, around 2:30 chris got another phone call. i told him to answer it, but he wouldn't. i took the phone from him but it stopped ringing.
which... what would i say to the russian stalker anyway?
