bump
we now have a verbal agreement with that couple, that they will purchase our house.
now, it's only a verbal agreement right now. no money has changed hands and no contracts have been signed. but the couple who has offered to purchase it has already been approved for the mortgage.
when they got back from the bank they stopped by to look at the house.
he talked with chris, while i showed her around the house. we walked through the house and janie giggled and ran into her room. she pulled out some toys to show our visitors and the woman was so very sweet to janie. she was amazed by her beautiful blue eyes, gorgeous blonde curly hair and infectious laugh.
just as everyone who ever comes into contact with janie is.
i had a pretty good feeling as they left the house. he said that he would call either tonight or tomorrow to talk it over with us.
less than 15 minutes later, he called with an offer. an offer, that while we would have been happy with more, we couldn't turn down.
these are good people. these are hard working people.
and they will be happy here for the time being. plus, this puts us one step closer to buying our dream house. that being said, i still won't post pictures of the house because i am a firm believer in murphy's law (anything that can go wrong, will go wrong) and i am just waiting on the bump (or gulch) in the road, so to speak... i almost feel like posting this here, now, is a mistake....
but i just had to. i couldn't resist.
i love my blog, and i love my readers and lurkers (all 2 of you). i sometimes wish (well, all the time, really) that i had written in it when janie was an itty-bitty baby. there is so much that happened in those few months that i didn't jot down here, and those memories (while not all of them good ones...) are lost forever.
because there is no way that a sleep deprived working mother can remember everything that her 3 month old baby did...
but i sure wish i could.
well, it is very late. and i am very hungry. i shouldn't eat this late, but i probably will. nope, no excuse, except that i am so very hungry.
tomorrow, i meet with our realtor about the house. and i am still waiting for that bump.
