exceptionally beautiful
today was a pretty productive day. i took janie to daycare (because i needed a day off, which turned into a , dropped off some bills, went by the bank, talked to the realtor about a house, had a few calls about our house. all in all, it was a pretty good day.
chris started his new job today. he's off tomorrow, which works out well because we hope that someone is coming to look at our house again. chris needs to cut the grass and i need to wash the mountain of dirty laundry in the laundry room.
all three of us just climbed into the bed and laid there and talked for about 20 minutes. hey, 20 minutes is a long time to talk with a 3-year-old. we tried to teach her to spell her name, which ultimately didn't work out.... but at least we tried.
as we laid there, chris and i on either side of our beautiful daughter, i couldn't help but feel blessed. blessed by God that i have such a wonderful child. i have been blessed is so many other ways, but she is my gift from God.
there is not a more beautiful child in the world. and not one that is more thoughtful. now, yes, she has her moments, but all in all, she is the epitome of a good kid.
and did i mention how exceptionally beautiful she is?
