it has been so damn long since i have updated this diary. and so much has happened that i am sure that i will never be able to recount all of it. let's see...
chris and shane are no longer friends. and believe me, this is a huge milestone in our marriage. i never thought i would be able to go a full day without chris saying atleast one thing about that boy. now i go weeks without having to hear his name. and when his name is brought up, it's because we are talking about how much we both can't stand him.

janie is getting so big! she weighs close to eighteen pounds now. she will be six months old tomorrow. almost none of her 3-6 month onesies fit anymore, but the 6-9 month ones are so big! i'm sure it won't take her very long to fill them out, though!
i just got some precious pictures of her, so i will have to post a few of them so everyone can see my beautiful baby girl!

chris had to work this weekend, so shea and i decided that we were going to do something together. we didn't know exactly what, but shea said it had to "involve alcohol," her words, not mine.
so, in a small town (which is in a dry county), what does everyone do that involves alcohol? that's right!
drive to the nearest wet county and go to the bar!
so there we were in all our glory. shea in her black hoochie-mama pants and me in my low-cut sexy shirt. we were stylin!!! we ended up seeing some friends of ours and we all had a blast.
before i knew it it was 3 o'clock and i had to go home. there was no way i could take care of janie and be hungover....which i was very worried that i was going to be. but in the end, everything worked out.
i got home around 3:45. chris called me at 4 am and said he had just gotten off work at 3 (which means that he worked 20 hours straight). chris got home around 7 am and he slept until 4:30 pm this afternoon.
peggy brought janie home around noon today and all in all we have had a nice relaxing day at home.
i'm just not sure i can go out and do that too much anymore. i'm getting too damn old for this!!!
