regular
chris is leaving today for montgomery. he's going to be working for a company that's working 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. so today at lunch was the last time i will get to see him for a few weeks. i told him that imight just show up there this weekend.
i already miss him.
he got up this morning to feed janie and just before i was going to leave and take her to mom's, chris picked her up and just started swaying back and forth with her.
as i stood in the doorway, i could tell his eyes were filling up with tears. janie took her little hand and pressed against his cheek with it. and then she took the other one and tried to pinch his lip. both of which she thought were hilarious.
and as he smiled at his beautiful little girl, the tears fell from his eyes, down his cheeks and onto his chest.
i love this man more than i can even describe.
and i wish he had a good paying job close to home. one where we could be comfortable and not worry about looking for another job once it ended.
a regular job.
and then we could live a regular life.
