chinese birth chart
by the chinese birth chart, we are having a boy. i don�t really see how a chart full of months and years can determine the sex of my child, but according to christie (a coworker of mine) it has been right every time she has used it.
i�ll have to think a little harder about boy names now.
when i told chris about the chinese birth chart thingie, he was very pleased. i think every man wants a son. i know my dad did. although daddy didn�t get a son, he got two wonderful daughters. he�s happy.
and i know chris will be too if we have a girl.
this is too early to worry about all of this!!!!

chris and i had a long talk last night.
he says that he is going to spend less time hanging out with the guys.

i�m starting to get that nauseated feeling. last night i didn�t think it would ever go away. and this morning i woke up feeling sick. i drank some chocolate milk and i don�t think i will be doing that again. *blah*

i have my first appointment with dr. dawkins on friday. it�s just a routine pregnancy test and exam. chris is going with me and we are probably going out to eat and to a movie afterwards. i�m getting off work at noon so i can be at the office by two o�clock. our plan is to stop by his parents house on the way home and tell them the news, and then go on up to my parents house and tell them.
i am getting enormously nervous about telling my mother for some odd reason.
i don�t know why i keep feeling so anxious about telling her.
it makes no sense.
she is going to be excited. i know she is.
so why do i feel this way?

on an even scarier note....i have heard through the grapevine that the company that i work for is planning some major cutbacks.
this is just wonderful.
chris is unemployed.
i'm having a baby.
and i might be unemployed pretty soon too.
great situation to bring a child into the world, huh?
