uber tantrum
so this morning.... of all mornings... the morning that i really need to get to work early... or atleast on time... janie decides to throw an uber-temper-tantrum when i tried to leave her at daycare. she threw herself on the couch and started kicking her legs and flailing her arms around, all the while screaming at the top of her lungs. as her face became this odd shade of purple, i began to worry about this sudden outburst of hedonistic terror.
then, nancy asked janie, "girl, do you want a honey bun? a honey bun can make anybody happy."
and with that, silence and then the patter of little feet running to the kitchen.
oh. my. goodness.
this kid has the world wrapped around her chubby little finger. the really odd thing is... i don't really mind...
