janie's dental x-ray
the experience at the dentist was a bit strained to begin with, janie didn't want to cooperate when they tried to take an x-ray.
you know those plastic things they have you put in your mouth and bit down on? well, you know how it's kinda uncomfortable? yeah, well, janie acted like it was about to kill her. i don't get it?! yeah, it's uncomfortable, but tears over this?? really?? *sigh*
they ended up doing a different type of x-ray, the kind where janie didn't have to bit down on that plastic thing, and here's what she looked like after that was done:
and here is mrs. april, out dental hygienist at dr. beard's office:
all in all, the visit went well. we found out that it's probably not the cap that is loose, but the whole tooth. dr beard said that he'd like for the tooth to stay in as long as possible because the permanent tooth that is under it isn't ready to come in yet.
he told us to watch it and for janie to let me know if it starts bothering her at all and we would take care of it then if need be. sounded good to me.
we made an appointment for janie to have her teeth cleaned at the end of the month... hopefully that will go smoothly...
