no time to blog
i haven't written in over a week.
there is only one real reason why i haven't, and that's because i haven't had time. it's not because there is nothing going on, because there has been plenty.
i spent two days off from work with janie last week because she was sick. we had a great time together during those two days! we played and played. after the first day, she still wasn't completely over her illness, so i told her that momma would be staying home with her again the next day.
"no work?" she asked.
"no work tomorrow. i'm going to stay home with you again," i replied.
she started jumping up and down and clapping her hands while yelling "YAY!!!"
by the end of the 2nd day, she seemed as though she was ready to go back to daycare. maybe mommy isn't as much fun as janie thought she would be. :) we did have a good time, and i hate that i never pulled out my camera and took some pictures. i haven't taken any pictures in almost TWO WEEKS.
and the really, REALLY sad thing is... this past weekend i went to new orleans to stay with chris and we went to bourbon street that saturday night.
yep.
and not one single picture.
this past week has been the graduation exam at the high school where i teach. it has been a mind-numbing experience for all of the proctors. i'm SO glad that it's over. i hope my students did well.... i remember taking that test when i was in high school. it wasn't the severity of the test back then -- it was the sheer length of it. every day for a week, stuck in the auditorium for 90 minute increments (with bathroom breaks inbetween). it was not fun. at all.
but i have added a few pics to picasaweb today. and of course, they are of my precious janie...
