skeet exploreum training allergy

i know.

i haven't updated in....

a week.

and my last few entries have been.... lacking, to say the least.

right now, my life is bursting at the seams. chris is working close to new orleans , in la place, louisiana . janie has been sick with a couple of different things over the past week or so, which means that we have been to the doctor a couple of times. the second time was much, MUCH worse than the first... but it was for something a little different as well... (i just can't go into it right now... i don't want to think about it, really... but she's getting better, so everything is alright).

this past weekend was FULL TO THE BRIM with fun stuff. we went to shea's to watch them shoot skeet and janie played her little booty off.

on monday, i went with melanie's class to the exploreum to view an exhibit. it was the our body: the universe within exhibit. and it was very interesting, and HORRIBLY GROSS at the same time. since melanie is a nurse, she loved it. but as a computer-techy-nerdy-teacher, i wasn't as excited about seeing actual cadavers. but... to each his own. i didn't get many pictures from the trip (none of the exhibit -- they wouldn't allow me to take any)... but here's a group shot:

i finished my first day of training the other teachers here at my school in how to incorporate technology into their curriculums, and i think i did okay. i was so nervous! but after getting started, there was nothing to it. especially since these were teachers that wanted to be in the class. it's a whole new ballgame when you get to train people that actually want to learn.

last night i spent a couple of hours taking pictures of some items that a friend of mine has been making. i don't know if he cares if i upload them to the web (although i doubt he does...but still) so i'll ask him and maybe i will get to post them tomorrow. heck, i TOOK the pictures.... i should be able to post them, right? it might even give him a little publicity. :)

well, i hope that catches me up...

oh wait. i didn't write about how i found out tonight that janie is apparently allergic to medical tape. the kind they put over a cotton ball after you've had a shot or had something lanced, or whatever. yeah. she's allergic.

very allergic.

but... that's an entry for another day.

xoxo
