SNOW and birthday all in one
because mommies who have to work never have enough hours in the day...
and because pictures are worth a thousand words...
here are about 12,000 words for ya...
our original plans of having her party on her actual birthday (saturday) didn't work out because it rained all morning. i didn't know it at the time, but as it was raining on us, about 30 miles north, it was snowing.
yes.... SNOWing.
so, that afternoon jami, janie and i loaded up and drove those 30 miles north so that janie could see snow for the first time in her life.
that TOTALLY made up for not being able to have the birthday party that morning. :)
we had the party on sunday, which worked out GREAT. chris was able to be there, and so was his mom. and neither of them could have come if it had been on saturday.
so, i guess sometimes things really do happen for a reason.
