candy cane kisses
you know what is really REALLY good? one of those candy cane hershey's kisses in a cup of hot chocolate. (they are on clearance with the Christmas stuff at wal-mart, go check it out!!!)

janie is in the tub with her blonde curly hair all piled on top of her head looking like she's got some kind of pagent up-do thing going on. it's cute! i fell asleep this afternoon and slept for almost 2 hours, so i don't know when i will go to sleep tonight. i've GOT to get back onto some kind of normal schedule...especially since school is starting back monday.
chris got a call about a job today. it's in pascagoula and all the guy said was that he was on the list to be hired. i asked him when he might be going and he said that he didn't exactly know. they are suppose to be working 60 to 70 hours a week through may (we think). that'll be a nice chunk of change and maybe chris will be able to stay off with me and janie during the summer for a couple of weeks.
because it sure has been warm and cozy with him home.
this house has life in it now.
chris in the basement beating and banging around. he's building shelves to put up the Christmas decorations so he can organize them. janie's splashing and singing in the bathtub with her damp ringlets falling around her face. and leigh, well, you know her. she's sitting at the make-shift kitchen table (ah-la mom's card table that i'm sure she wonders if she's EVER getting back -- not yet ma!!!) on her computer clacking away at the keyboard.
yep.
this is my life.
and i absolutely LOVE it.
