pink rice krispy treats

last night... i was in a slump. i wanted so badly to go out... just to get out of the house, really. and it's not that i haven't been going-going-going for the past few days.

i just wanted a change of scenery.

and what did i end up doing?

sulking in front of my computer for a few hours playing around with some pictures, listening to some music...

and finally, i got over it. well, maybe not totally. but mostly. enough that i stopped toying with the idea of just getting in my car and driving...

...to wherever.

and today?

i'm still restless, but not to the point that i was last night.

so, janie and i decided to make some rice krispy treats...pink ones. :)

jami is leaving to go to daniel's parents for new years tomorrow, and that really makes me sad.... *pout* i've seen her every day for over a week now, and we won't get to see her again until mid-january.

i love you, jami. i hope you know that. heck, you're the only sister i have. but you understand... you know? you understand our wonderfully odd family. and you love janie almost as much as i do. one day, you'll have a little janie of your own.... and you'll understand why i say almost. until then, you can argue with me all you want.
