you know how you've always heard that applying latex paint over oil based paint just isn't a good idea?
well, it's not just something the oil-based paint people have made up to keep you from buying latex paint. that stuff will peal off just as soon as it dries.
it looks like the toy box project has to be put off for a day or so, so my daddy and i can undo the damage i did to the toy box today. janie and i did have fun pealing the paint off though. good mother-daughter bonding. :)
and yes, it is daddy's toy box. the one he used as a kid, and the same one that jami and i used as children.

that's why it HAS to be fixed.
