last night... sitting on my back deck by myself and indulging in my new addiction (kellogg's fruit loop cereal straws) and looking up at the stars...
i got cold.
it is now mid september, and last night, i felt the cool breeze of fall. the air even smelled like fall. i can't wait for the leaves to start turning! our backyard is full of trees that will change colors and i can't wait to get my camera out to take pictures! most of the trees around our old house were evergreen and everything looked the same all the time, except for the HUGE amount of azaleas that we had. we have an idea of what this yard will look like in the fall, but we have never actually seen it. and hopefully we aren't in for a dissappointment and as soon as the leaves turn colors, they don't fall right off.
and i also hope that the cool breeze that i felt last night wasn't just a fluke.
last halloween was so hot that poor little janie was miserable in her costume. hopefully this year she will be able to wear it again and be comfortable.
here are some pictures from last night. catherine, shea, tiffany and i went to a local bar and grill to hang out and sing karaoke. we had an okay time. catherine's wedding is now less than an week away!
