547 pictures
since friday, i have taken 547 pictures.... (yes, jami... i plan on uploading them, or a lot of them, to picasaweb or flickr as soon as i can.)
on friday, we went to chris's parents house. they have a small (just starting out) nursery business (hawthorne gardens) and have flowers galore. i took pictures of everything that i thought was pretty, and i even got a picture of a butterfly on one flower. i took pictures of janie and her cousins, janie and her pawpaw, and just janie in general... like normal. the total for the day was 147 pictures.
on saturday, we went to shea's house to go swimming. i braded my hair that morning, because i knew that i needed it out of my face to go swimming or i would have a big knotted mess to comb out later. when janie saw my hair, she wanted hers done too. so both of us showed up to shea's house with two french braids each. her's was precious... mine was more pocahontas-like than i would have wanted.... all in all, i took 167 pictures.
sunday we went to see nana&pop. their neighbor's children were home for the day and we spent most of our time chatting with them outside in the backyard. after that we went back to shea's (but i didn't take any pictures that night). sunday's total was a sad 36 pictures...
but today, memorial day, monday, i have an astounding 196 pictures. and even a few pretty good pictures of myself. i took pictures of EVERYTHING. shea's pool, the kids playing, everyone that was there, the food, our feet (yes, our FEET), the flowers that the girls picked for us... EVERYTHING.
tomorrow it's back to work. i'm ready, but i'm not. i want to get back to high-speed internet (if for nothing else than blogging and posting pictures). but i have alot to get done by june 7th.
but after that...
