grayish hue
this is the last day of school before Christmas holidays. we don't have any students today, and we get out at 11 (hopefully) but it was still hard to get out of bed at 4:30 this morning.
it started raining night before last and hasn't stopped yet. it just looks yucky outside. everything has a grayish-hue to it. sorta depressing.
and the temperature hasn't been very december-like either. earlier this week we had a high of 84° with 90% humidity. i know this is the south, but COME ON!!! when we went to bellingrath this past weekend, it was so warm and muggy that poor janie's hair started sticking to her -- not to mention the outfit that i stupidly put her in (but atleast she was in layers).
it didn't take long for all of us to start shedding clothing.
for every 15 minutes of walking around in bellingrath, one article of clothing came off. i was very glad that we brought the umbrella stroller (which janie did NOT want to sit in -- that is until she figured out that her cousin wanted to sit in it, and HELL NO she was not going to let that happen) because otherwise, i would have been carrying around 20 pounds of extra clothing in my arms.
*whew*
okay, enough whining.
on to better things...

everyone is ready to go home. to finish shopping. to start cooking.
and i am ready to spend some time with my family.
chris has been home for a week now. every night i have come home from work this week, my house has been clean, the dishes washed, the clothes washed and folded, and supper has been ready to eat.
he's such a wonderful man.
God could not have blessed me more. i promise.
this is an older picture of us (taken in may of this year) and i don't have any makeup on. we both look about the same, except my hair is about 3 inches longer now, and a little more red in color.
i love this man. i absolutely
