brand spankin' new
yesterday it rained, and rained, and rained. i wondered if it was ever going to stop. and then our power went out. so i pulled out the BRAND SPANKIN' NEW DIGITAL CAMERA that i had just forked $400 over for and started snapping away.
it takes still photos and video. it is a canon powershot s3 is. so far i have taken about 300 pictures (i bought a 512mb sd card to go with) and i have been very pleased. i let the sales clerk know that if i didn't like it, that i was bringing it back pronto. but, it looks like this camera might be the newest addition to our little family. janie even likes it. the display flips out and around like a camcorder -- which means that i can take pictures of her while she is looking at herself. this seems to be the best way to get her to smile.
it takes pretty good video as well. too bad i couldn't get her to sing more. maybe this afternoon i can... :)
