it has been so long since i wrote a real entry in this blog that i am ashamed to call myself a blogger. with teaching (and all the stuff that no one tells you about before you become a teacher) and janie being sick, i haven't had the time to get anything that i wanted to do done.

chris was off last friday, so he stayed home with janie so she didn't have to go to daycare. she's got bronchitis. and even though that's not contaigious (or so says the doctor) i didn't think there was any reason for her to go to daycare when her daddy was home. thankfully chris thought the same. he said they had a good day � cleaning and playing all day long. so i came home to a happy baby AND a clean house.

JACKPOT!!!

i have discovered how to make dvds. technology is amazing, you know? i have spent all weekend excited about coming back to work so that i can play with this dvd burner and software more. i spent 3 days playing with it last week BUT every second of that was for work. EVERY SECOND. i promise.

the only drawback is that it takes SO LONG to make one of these suckers. i am thinking about leaving this friggin' computer running all night just to do one disc. ONE! just ONE! .. yeah, it's been going for 30 minutes now and it is only 18% done creating the video. plus there is another whole thing it's got to do before it is ready to burn to dvd. *sigh*

this isn't turning out to be the greatest entry in the world, huh? so i will make up for it in pictures....
