party party party

yesterday was janie's 2nd birthday party. daniel (of jami and daniel) brought over an inflatable jumpy-bouncy thing from dothan because he could get it for free from the company he works for and they cost like $140 to rent one for a weekend. so cha ching!

at first, janie didn't want to get inside at first. she just wanted to look in through the sides. it took a few minutes, but we finally got her to go in and jump around.

but after we got her in, she decided that it was way more fun in there than outside. (i didn't get any pictures of her temper-tantrum when we had to pull her out because it was time to go in and eat cake...but i'm sure someone did i'll post those as soon as i can get my hands on them and psp myself out of them)

then it was time for cake. janie's daycare provider (nancy, you're the BEST!) made her a beautiful dora cake. not only was it beautiful, but it tasted great too!

all in all, janie's party turned out great. she didn't get to open many of her own presents (her cousins took care of that for her) but janie didn't seem to mind at all. i think she really liked the party hats most of all.

i cleaned up all day saturday and sunday morning sunday for this party. there really wasnt that much of a mess (except for janie's room being demolished). from my toddler-birthday-party-throwing-experience, i have derived that the best part about the whole toddler-birthday-party-throwing-experience is THE END.

before you know it, it'll be time to plan her 3rd. i can't believe i went from two years ago having this:

to now having this:
