and so it begins
my precious beautiful baby girl is turning TWO YEARS OLD this thursday. we are having her a birthday party on sunday afternoon so that everyone who wants to can come.
it is hard to believe that she is almost 2. and i know this is something that every parent goes through. but it seems as though just as i was getting use to having a little baby, she's not a baby anymore. last night when i helped her put on her pajamas, i noticed that the pants legs were getting a bit too short. and i just bought those dang pajamas two months ago.
apparently, her legs have grown two inches in the past two months. if we keep this rate up, she will be her father's height before she reaches kindergarten. which, if she wants to go into the profession of female pro-wrestling, wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.
every day she does something that blows my mind. like the way she dances exactly the same to twinkle twinkle little star as she does to gold digger. and how every time i walk through the door she runs up to me and hugs me like she hasn't seen me in days. every. single. time. no matter how long i have actually been out of her sights. 2 seconds? time to give momma a hug! it is a wonderful feeling.
one that i wouldn't trade for ANYTHING.
