ivan the terrible
saying that i am ready for this weekend is such an understatement.
i don�t even want to know how long it has been since i have written in this journal, but i am pretty sure that it has been a couple of months. i am working on getting it all together and printed out and put into a binder so that i can take it out and read through it at my leisure.
it seems to be taking longer than i expected to do so, though.
hurricane ivan hit last week�wednesday night to be exact, and it tore up all kind of stuff. including the fiber optic cable that runs from my building at the school to the server in the school. so bye-bye fast internet connection.

i got some new pictures of Janie from wal-mart yesterday, and i wanted to put a few of them in here, but our wal-mart�s cd-maker is torn up, and i can�t seem to get the scanner to cooperate here in the vo-tech building.
but i am not complaining.
some people have it much worse than i do. i was only without water and electricity for 3 days, and there are some people who still don�t have electricity back yet.
mr. hagood said he was told that it would be next wednesday before they would be getting it. that will make it 13 days without electricity for them.
i can�t imagine not having power and having to come to work. mom and day just got power back two days ago�so we got power back 4 days before they did. let�s here it for wagarville!!!
