so far today has gone off without a hitch.
but it�s only lunchtime.
that weird feeling i had earlier has almost completely subsided.....but remember i said almost.

i�m starting to really miss chris.
who woulda thunk it?
i don�t miss him being mean, but i do miss him.
i wish i could go home this afternoon and see his truck in the driveway.
but he is 600 miles away, working his butt off in the middle-of-nowhere-oklahoma.
it�s only been two days since i last saw him...
and i have another 19 to go (minimum).
*sigh*

this weekend will be interesting.
there is a steele family reunion tomorrow at chris�s grandfather�s house (mr. jim).
mr. jim is a really nice man. he�s a little man, about my height (which is about 5'5") and has white hair.
his wife (mrs. janie) passed away about two months ago.
poor mr. jim has had it rough lately.
he�s had cancer.
he�s had his wife of over 50 years to pass away.
and in the past two weeks, he has had a stroke.
but he�s a trooper.
i love that little man.
and to top it off, he�s a cute as he can be!
he reminds me of the grandfather-type you see on television. not the grumpy type, the lovable grandpaw type.

oh yeah, and i need to start cleaning up the house. i know i sounded all gung-ho about it earlier, but i�m not so sure i am going to get all of that done.
maybe just the closets for this weekend...
