chris brought out the sidewalk chalk helped janie draw all over the front porch. it actually lasted longer than i thought it would. my 2 year old's attention span usually only lasts about 10 minutes at the MAX, but she drew and colored for over 2 hours sunday afternoon. it was great. the porch still looks like picaso threw up all over it even now...

i finally tried the flower girl dress on janie. i kept being berated by everyone because i was scared to try it on her. 1) because i didn't want to get it dirty. 2) because i was scared to death that it wouldn't fit. i know, i know. not really good reasons � and that's why i gave in and put it on her. to my amazement � it stayed clean AND it fit!

we spent saturday afternoon sitting in the back yard watching janie play in the dirt. we have got to get this kid a sandbox. and a swing set. with a slide. but anyway. here is our side yard. i have to admit...we do have a pretty yard...
