thank you, random student of mine. for making fun of my cell phone.

REALLY??
i know it shouldn't bother me. but it does.
why? you ask?
because i'm pretty darn sure my tax dollars are paying for the food on her table at home. because i teach public school. and yes, this student may be on free lunch, but she has a nicer cell phone than i do, and i bet her mother drives a nicer car than i do.
and apparently her parents haven't spent time raising her very well, or she never would have said something like that to me and laughed.
