perfectly placed freckle
i just laid janie down in her bed.... and i laid down beside her....
not to get her to go to sleep, but just to look at her.
at her beautiful chubby cheeks.
at her gorgeous long eye lashes.
at her heart shaped mouth.
at her perfectly placed freckle, right above that heart shaped mouth.
at her golden blonde ringlets that frame her face.
every day, i am in awe of this child.
every day, i am thankful to have such a blessing in my life.
and i hope that she knows just how much i truly love her.
