ok. so i am cheating a little. i found this survey on myspace and i am posting it here. it is actually one of the only ones that i have come across that asked valid questions. none of that "what's your favorite color" crapola.

probably going to pick up janie from daycare.

that sometimes i do take enjoyment in the misery of others (but only those who have tried to make my life unpleasant in the past).

too much to do and never enough time

how many hours of sleep did you get last night?
about 5 or so.

are you happy with where you are in life right now?
yes. i have a beautiful home, a wonderful husband, a precious child and a job that i love. what more could i want?

where do you picture yourself being a year from now?
still teaching... hopefully a little lighter....and a little wiser... but, basically the same.

when you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
a teacher and a photographer

what about when you were in high school?
a writer. (i blog therefore i am.)

did you achieve those goals, or have they changed?
teacher? check. photographer? not exactly, but i do take WAY TOO MANY pictures. writer? like i said earlier, i blog, therefore i am. ;)

what are your creative talents?
i can write pretty well.... when the mood strikes me. i can take pretty good photographs. ummm.... that's about it.

name one thing you learned about yourself in the past year:
that i do want to have another child.

what was the most important life's lesson you've learned so far?
when you think you've got so much to do that you can only "get things done" and not do them well, just cry, and tomorrow, it'll all be okay. because there are some things that you just can't help.

what is one thing you would like to work on or change about yourself?
the way that i unconsciously make mean faces. apparently i am more expressive when i talk (and teach) than i thought. i think i'm getting a few wrinkles because of it.

what is one thing you are proud of about yourself?
if i listed all in my life that i am proud of, i would sound even more narcissistic than i really am. and that right there would be an accomplishment. because i'm pretty dang narcissistic. :)

if you could do one thing, right now, without consequence, what would u do?
hmmmm..... one? only one? what about three... or maybe four....

have your dreams ever predicted the future?
yes. and the bad thing was... it was a nightmare.

no.

have you ever done something really dangerous?
when i was younger. before i had janie. since then, i don't even drink. yeah, i know. don't say it.

what scares you the most?
something bad happening to janie or chris. janie because she's my daughter... she's me. chris because of the work he does and the amount of time he is spending on the road.

are you afraid of heights?
yes.

what is one thing people say about you that isn't true?
that i can write well and that i can sing. :)

that i'm beautiful. lol

yes. constantly. it would probably help if i would talk slower and not quite as much.

with housework? no. with everything else? HECK YES.

so much so that it is daunting at times. i might need to work on that. can your self-esteem be too high? yeah. might have that problem.

um... depends on what you're talking about.

german, english, french, irish. yeah. i know.

partying every weekend, all weekend long. it's time to grow up. it's time to act like an adult. and no, not a continually drunk adult.

i feel bad for...
the elderly who don't have anyone to help take care of them.

i am happy...
that janie is growing into such a beautiful person. she's more of a blessing than i could have ever imagined.
