mock turtle soup

this is the playhouse that my daddy built when i was little. it's still there, but my parents no longer live at that house. we moved into town when i was 10, and the playhouse didn't move with us.

but seeing it now....

i sure wish it did.

strange how seeing things like this from your past will make your stomach feel strange.

it had a play range and a real sink. plenty of cabinets. a front porch with a railing and a real front door with glass. it even had that roll-type linoleum flooring (it wasn't pretty, but still, you know?).

it was THA BOMB.

there was a window above the sink, and the sink had a sprayer (no, it wasn't hooked up to the water) and i would sing into the sprayer like it was a microphone. i found a little plastic turtle, and i would make daddy mock-turtle soup.

dang. i gotta end this entry. i'm missing that play house more and more now...

xoxo

tell me i'm beautiful...
