downstairs bathroom
out of all the rooms in this house that we need to do something to, we have one actually finished...

this is the downstairs bathroom, and it is about the size of a closet, but it serves its purpose. it's actually about the same size as the bathroom (the ONLY bathroom) at our old house. and i say it's finished, but we still haven't put up a towel bar next to the sink, but like a dear friend of mine told me, those details aren't as important as the big things.
so, save for a towel bar, WE HAVE FINISHED OUR FIRST ROOM IN THIS HOUSE!
chris is going to start a new job this week. he will be working in the same town as before (about 25 miles away) but at a different plant and for a different company. he's worked for them before, and he looks forward to working for them again. right now, he's in an osha class. and this afternoon when he gets back, he and pop will go back to working on the roof.
i think we ought to throw a the roof is finally done party whenever they finally finish it. this has been a HOT, long, drawn-out project. and i know they probably look forward to the end of this project more than any other... they plan on doing the same thing to the other side of the house, but i think they are going to wait until it's a bit cooler to work on it.
no one wants to be on a roof when it is 104° outside.
NO ONE.
and as for me? i don't EVER want to be on a roof. no matter what the weather is...
