many facets
happy independence day! yesterday, i went shoppoing with my mother and sister. it went much better than i expected. i won't say that there wasn't any yelling or berating on the trip (we were stuck in the car for over 3 hours reound trip), but at the end of the day, everyone seemed happy.
mom bought me a pair of new balance shoes for my birthday (which is coming up pretty fast). my sister and i wondered around bed-bath&beyond for like 30 minutes just trying to kill some time because mom was in coldwater creek (and that store gives me the heeby-jeebies). i mean goodness gracious! jami and i were astounded that bb&b was trying to sell potpourii for $15 a bag. cwc was trying to sell the same dang bag for $29!!!
i don't think so.
we are hoping to close on the new house soon. as in very, very soon. it might be the beginning of next week. i really wanted it to be friday, (as in day after tomorrow) but that doesn't look like it is going to happen.
janie is excited about the new house. she asks every day if we can go to the "big house" and every day i have to tell her "not today." *pout* she's so precious! jami and mom kept her last night so that i could have a break and i promised mom that i wasn't getting a sitter for this weekend.
tomorrow i am taking my cousin's engagement photos (yeah, i know, i didn't know i was that much of a photographer either). friday, i need to....um....not sure what i am doing friday. probably washing clothes and packing for sunday. yeah, i am going out of town for a few days next week.
oh, and don't worry. i made sure that catherine (my cousin) understood that the pictures i take tomorrow are mine - not hers. and i get to post them on the internet if i like them. :) yep. my narcissism has oh so many facets...
