the times in between
i was able to take some wonderful pictures today. some of the best i have ever taken of janie. but thanks dial-up internet, i won�t be able to upload them. hopefully i will be able to monday at school.
today has been one of those days that is wonderful, but that gets forgotten over time because nothing spectacular happened. most memories are filled with the exceptionally good times, and the hideously bad times. the times in between just get lost in the shuffle.
i went grocery shopping. laid down with janie for a nap. nana&pop came over to visit (and to see chris�s travel trailer that is now parked in our drive way). then we headed to town to look at a house that i would love to live in.
and i haven�t even seen the inside of it yet.
yes. i took pictures of it as well. i didn�t take a picture of the front of the house, but it is listed on the internet, so i can borrow a couple of those pics to place here.
it is over 100 years old, but it is precious. it is just what i want. remember, i am saying all of this without a clue of what the inside looks like. it is 1.5 stories, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath (ugh) with an attached carport and a quaint backyard.
it is within 4 blocks of my parents� house. i know that the bathroom is probably the size of a closet, and that the kitchen has not been updated for quite some time. but i told chris, if we enlist the help of our friends, we could get a lot of stuff done in a few days before moving in. like putting new floor down in the kitchen, and heck, even installing new cabinets. my father is a whiz when it comes to anything that involves wood and a table saw.

tomorrow chris is planning to go fishing with his father, paul d. if you go back into the archives, you can read about my in-laws. they are both still the same. just as wonderful as ever.
it is strange that chris isn't leaving tomorrow. i don't think i actually believe it yet. tomorrow night when he is still here after six o'clock, i will believe it.
here's to the times in between. because that is what life is really about.
