really close
melanie is planning on bringing her two children to nana&pop's house this afternoon to play with janie. we, well actually I, am hoping that this will make her so tired that she will fall asleep at the dinner table tonight.
melanie's husband is in the national guard. i don't know much about the national guard, like ranks and cool stuff like sergeant-high-corporal-master-sir stuff, but i do know that being a military wife (even with the national guard) must REALLY SUCK. even more than not being able to get janie to sleep at night. her husband is gone to pldc (don't know what that is either, and don't really care, just know that it means that he'll be gone for two weeks and won't be able to talk to her).
so we have got to plan some GREAT stuff for our kids to do together. even if it is just play at nana & pop's house.
because i remember chris leaving. and i HATED that feeling.
plus, melanie is 36 weeks pregnant with their 3rd child. when her husband gets back, she will be 38 weeks.
that's REALLY CLOSE.
