green

friday night i went over to a new friend's house. she is a teacher, and this is her first year at this high school. i think it is actually her 3rd year to teach...anyway. she's married to a city cop and they invited me over to grill steaks and shrimp.

her house is exquisite. i literally began to salivate as i drove up the newly asphalted drive-way. as i walked around to the back of the house, i stepped up onto a deck that was about three-quarters the size of my entire house. she has french doors in her bedroom that open up onto this deck...and get this...from her master bathroom (yeah, which means she has more than one meesly bathroom) she can sit in her garden whirlpool tub and look at her pond.

yep.

i said pond.

as i walked in to the master bath, i realized that her whirlpool tub was as big as my whole bathroom.

i am green with envy. can't you tell?

chris and i will never be able to live in a house like that.

i felt like pure white trash when i was over there. everything was just perfect. everything was in it's own place....the house almost looked like it wasn't even lived in. but it was wonderful.

granted, she doesn't have any children...and a child (especially one like janie) tends to throw your whole house into disarray.

but still...

i should change my template to be green because that's the way i feel.

blah

p.s. i decided that i don't need a picture on my website. i add so many pixels that an image is really unnessesary...

xoxo

tell me i'm beautiful...
