sick
janie is sick.
chris is sick.
i am sick.
in the past 5 days we have endured just about every sickness imaginable.
#1 first it was janie's rsv. respiratory syncytial virus. sounds like something medieval, doesn't it? here is a link to some info on it, but basically it is a very bad respiratory infection. and there is not much that can be done to cure it, since it is viral. it basically has to run its course and should be over in 10 to 14 days�according to webmd.
#2 next came janie�s earache. last sunday morning she started screaming her head off for no apparent reason. that�s something janie never does. it took a couple of days and a lot of amoxil�, but we think we have the earache under control now.
#3 then i got a cold. i think it has turned into a sinus infection�.or maybe even strep throat. i just know i feel like poopy. i can't seem to quit coughing.
#4 here is the best one of all. stomach virus. it has made its way all through the family. first janie, then me, and now chris. it didn�t seem to affect janie that badly, but i couldn�t eat anything for over 2 days. i just ate my first meal since saturday. and it didn�t taste that good. you know how nothing tastes good when you are sick?
#5 i said the stomach virus was the best one of all. but actually this one runs a good race with it. janie now has the chicken pox.
yep. on top of all that she has the friggin� chicken pox.
now i�m not sure if her 102� fever is because of the rsv, the earache, or the chicken pox.
and i just know she is getting dehydrated.
my poor little sick baby girl.
